Well, as me and Weirdo mentioned in the Master CATS Petition topic, this place is not as active or lively as it used to be. Don't deny it folks, YOU ALL KNOW IT'S TRUE. I'm sure you guys do care about this place, as every time I do have the time to show up, there are quite a few members coming in here daily, yet not much posting is being done. I'm sure you guys all want to fix that, but it's going to take a bit of effort to do it, and I think I have a solution to do just that. The first thing for a forum to run are topics, correct? I created some in an effort to stop some of the inactivity about 2+ weeks ago, but I only received at most three replies in each of them. Well, I bring you guys a proposal: Post more topics! Well that was pretty simple, right? Well, not really. Don't just make a bunch of one liners every chance you get, cuz that's pretty much just spam and that was pretty much the only thing being done last year. Try to actually go in depth with them. I've seen Weirdo do quite a few of these during my absence about a year ago and they seemed to work pretty well. Write about the stuff you are currently into, what you are looking forward to the most in the near future, something, ANYTHING! They don't have to be about the most awesome thing ever, or even have 1/4 the amount of text in this post, just do eeet! I want to see every single one of you to post at least one topic a week. Give it a something maybe all of us will find interesting, and then maybe you can go the distance with some less laid back topics or something. Just to be clear, i'm not forcing you to do anything, but if you guys really do want this place to be more active again, then it's you time to do something about it. Yeah, and discuss anything else you guys might feel about this whole issue and what else could be done about it. The future of Club Rouge, rests in your hands.

I understand you reason for your idea, but if everyone here posted 1 topic a week, topics would die out so quickly. I'd think it'd be better to propose 1 thought-out topic a month from everyone instead, since that seems like it'd be work better.

The thing about your proposal is that we make more than one topic a month. The more topics there are, the more likelihood others would participate. These topics are going to be about stuff that we will all be interested in and we could all discuss how to make that work in this thread and we could discuss how other topics can be made so interest doesn't dwindle as much as compared to the last few months so low inactivity doesn't happen again. This is for all of us to find out what we could do to keep this place up and running.
My proposal isn't the be all end all of how to make this work. It's all a group effort and the final decision will be what we could all do in the long run.
Edit: I just realized that I could of made the first post, my post-count #666 in this thread just for the lulz.

I...don't see why low activity matters. We still talk and stuff if anything comes up. The fact is we have less active members than a lot of forums so of course we're not THAT active.

Yeah, but compared to about a year ago, this place was much more active then, than recently. We always went to a small quite phase, but this has been going since practically the entire year.
What? Why isn't anybody else replying other than saying "NO U!" I'm sure somebody has something else to say.
...
Anybody...?
Guys? ...

Since you're the one worried about it, feel free to advertise if you want. We only have about 8 members or so that are active, therefore, the site will generally remain inactive.

The issue is that some people are busy right now, I know that my computer issues dragged me into inactivity for 3 months, I know some are in college/University courses which are ending about now, then theres also the economic issues and some may have had to loose internetz for foodz (not sure if that happened to anyone, my mom can't get fired because my grampas her boss and he knows that if shes fired she'll just mooch off him.)
Also some people are lazy....like me.....

Quacker and I VOW (yeah, we vow) to get more active these days. His game is going gold soon and he has more time on his hands for the stuff he used to do so AHA! He's been thinking about you guys a lot, don't think he doesn't. He just used to flop down face first into bed as soon as he got home before Now I will prod him to be more active And I, myself, will reply in more posts (though I struggle with actual Sonic-related posts as all I know is what Quacker rambles on and on and on about in his sleep)

YOU GUYS AREN'T KEEPING YOUR PROMISE. For that, your deserve a boot to the head.
So, does my offer still stand? I bump up this thread again in hopes to see what you guys have to say about the low inactivity and how we can all fix that.

It's soooo not true :l *shot*
Meh, sorry I really wasn't active that much. My teachers in AP are giving me homework to the EXTRREEEEEME, so really, I had to shorten my schedule. Plus, I was also too addicted to Modern Warfare 2 at the time... ... WHAT? It's a fun game, okay? ;.;
Anyway, I usually get done with my homework at like 6:00 to 7:00 (sometimes 8:00) PM, so I had to shorten my schedule DRASTICALLY. (not like I ever had one)
Plus, I was also busy playing Demento and Sonic Battle (Demento is epic, by the way) so don't blame it on me.
I could maybe do one topic per week. So, I agree to your thingie, RedPenguin...
After you get into the Woll Smoth-coptor, fly to the nearest MTV building, bombard it with decorated pillows, then fly into space, go over to Planet X564367 located at the far-side of the universe, destroy any Arnold (Terminator one) ships while your there, then drop Omega Bobby Davin in the deadly pool of Kool-Aid and Sunny D gases, then summon Richard Simpson near him in order for him to get scared, so he may drop a Hello Kitty nuke out of pure terror, thus destroying all the civilizations of the dreaded Cindy Crawford.
...
Please? :3 *shot*

Aww, sorry for the death of your grandma. D: I've always wanted to travel to different places in Asia. My best friend's cousin traveled to Japan and stayed there for a month. He promised to bring me yen because I collect foreign money, and I almost strangled him when he said he forgot to bring it. xDD
