I'm gonna leave this forum, cause unlike most people, I don't think Rouge is a slut, etc. Yet, on this board theres a rule saying, "
1) Feel free to fight amongst yourselves, but don't be unnecessarily hurtful." Bashing characters I like is considered hurtful. I've put up with this for too long, over IM, etc. So yeah, whatever, you all can go on thinking I'm a n00b and crap. Bye.

Jeeze Taylor, sorry you feel that way. Honestly, I don't think we've ever called you a n00b (in this forum, at least). I personally like you.

It's not Rouge bashing. I LIKE Rouge. (I have a Rouge doll next to my computer) She's one of my favorite characters in Sonic. One of the Smartest and savvy character's other then Eggman and Tails. She knows how to play any situation to her advantage. Hell, she's even able to pull off a double life as a jewel thief AND top ranking GUN agent.

The jokes are mainly about her sexuality. Yes, most are in poor taste. The only reason I personally do it is because she's one of the few Sonic characters to be portrayed with any sexuality in the games and Sonic X. Hell, she's said surprisingly adult things in both continuities. It's no secret that Rouge is meant to be "sexy." We just go further and call her a tramp.

Calling her that just implies she's loose. I know a few girls who I'd conceder trampy, and they are very nice people -- just loose. She's a strong, intelligent woman, and I respect that. Heck, she's probably the only really strong woman portrayed in the Sonic Games (apart from perhaps Blaze).

Please don't take personal offense. We never meant to insinuate she was an idiot, and CERTAINLY never meant to insult you for liking her.

Finally, the rule about being unnecessarily hurtful -- someone bashing characters you like doesn't count, UNLESS it's directed at you personally. Some people like Big. Some hate Shadow. Everyone's entitled to their opinions. Heck, Master Silver LOVES Silver. I don't, but that doesn't mean I think he's a n00b.

Eg.

Acceptable: Charmy is lame.

Not-acceptable: Charmy is lame, and thus, Quacker is lame for liking him. Also, Quacker's Mom's a whore.

I think I figured out where the "loose" jokes come from. THere's a costume in SA2/B that makes her look like that. But, then again, it could've just been a photoshopped pic by Sonic Cult which is where I found it.

The loose jokes come from the fact that she's constantly trying to seduce different characters,like Knuckles and even Sonic (in Sonic Battle). Also, in some media, she's portrayed in an overtly erotic way, such as bathing during several shots of Sonic X season 3, or telling Tails that "[he]'ll learn when he's older" in Sonic battle, when he asked why Shadow was in her room.

Wow I cant believe people take this kind of thing so personally, considering these are fictional characters and all. I mean, Sonic is my favorite character even more so than Shadow, and I'm ALWAYS picking on Sonic. If you dont believe me check out my comics because he's always getting the short end of the stick, so to speak. I think the same thing goes here when people mock characters for something that they are particularly known for, such as Silver being a total moron. Which we all know he is.
