Having worked at a gamestop for 2 years, I was crooked enough to get my hands on systems the day they came out. My xbox 360 is my favorite system at home, so when the 4 flashing red lights of d00m occurred in my room, I flipped out. After all, it's been lie 3 years right? Or whatever. Anyway, I send it in and they send me a box, I ship it out (for free) and I get it back less than a week later. But it wasnt my xbox. It was a brand spanking new xbox console. Amazing! They also gave me free XBOX live subscription and a warranty until 2008. For a system that was more or less 3 years old or so. Cool! But then guess what? A month later I started getting E-74 errors, so I had to send it in. They are shipping it back to me, and it should be back by friday or saturday. My warranty hasnt changed, and I have yet to find out what the problem was. So any of you out there who dont have an xbox, or have one, I want you to know how efficient and awesome the people at xbox are at taking care of people. For once a positive review of a customer support, eh?? XD

Well I'll be damned! I didn't see that coming.
I've never had much help with customer support. I have a sweet Sony DV camera (which shoots "Geek Eats!"). It kept coming up with Tape errors, refusing to play tapes FULL of material. I called Sony and they said that it wasn't their problem, and that it was a user issue, recommending I reset the system (for the 206th time) or change the tape (which had a load of footage on it.)
Finally I found a message board on the 'net in which everyone with the same problem recommended "just slapping the camera." I tried it...(praying to Shadow the camera would be fine.)
My camera now works perfectly, and hasn't had the problem again. I guess the irish were right! when you have a problem with something -- slap it!
