When looking up Japanese honorifics, I came across something a bit odd. For those of you who don't know, the honorifics are what's added to a name to indicate relationships between people (for example, the well known -chan added to female names, showing friendship).
Well, looking at this I came across -kun. -Kun is used to address men of lower status, male pets and in friendship (for example, it's largely used by girls towards boys whom they're emotionally attached to). So, if you were buddies with Shadow, you could call him Shadow-kun, otherwise it'd be used by him to address you. Yes, you are lower then Shadow - he has his own Chruch, you go TO the Chruch.
Anyway, I noticed that when the guy you're addressing is family, the -kun becomes part of a nickname. Like Sonikku.
....Who addresses Sonic as Sonikku? Yep. AMY ROSE. The fangirl who wants his babies.

Sounds about right to me. Although "Sonikku" is also Sonic's name in Japanese even without the emotionally attatched fangirl.
