This is so sad, I could cry... Actually, I did, but that's besides the point. My beloved Gamecube memory card has finally KICKED THE BUCKET. ALMOST thirty games of data has been completely wiped out of existence. Most notably... Super Smash Bros. Melee SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE?! NOOO, MY CHAO!!! Both my Harvest Moon: A(nother) Wonderful Life I have to redeem Tales of Symphonia too... And so much more. ;___; If anyone wants to join me in the farewell to my Gamecube memory card, the funeral is this weekend. R.I.P CeleBaby20's memory card December 2004 - August 2008. P.S: The silver lining is that some games had survived. Windwaker, Sonic Heroes, my Starfox games and a very few other games survived the uprising of evilness, and they're on my backup memory card. Unfortunately, it's only got 123 blocks on it, so I need to buy a new one. *wears black* It's such a sad story...the night before it died, I was playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, and it was working fine. The next day, I had worked on my chores and I could finally have time to myself...alas, that was not to be, for I had discovered that my memory card had somehow gotten damaged. So many games had been killed in the process, such as Mario Parties 4, 5 and 6, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, Sonic Adventure and so on. The process to save those surviving games was painful, and I had to bid farewell and erase data I wished I never had to. One such record was this... May the memory live on within the reaches of my photobucket account.

I love Harvest Moon as well. I'm waiting for Harvest Moon 64 to come out on VC so I can play it.

OSNAP, that sorta happened to me too! Last year, actually. So, my brother and I were about to play Smash, when an error message came up saying "Your memory card is damamged and needs to be re-formatted" I didn't know what it ment, so I clicked "yes". But it didn't tell me it'd wipe my card ;-;. But anyway, about a year has passed, and I've beaten everything again.

Dammit, I wish some company out there would make a graverobber for memory cards (thats a program that puts files back together that have been deleted or destroyed accidently).

That's why I'm glad systems are coming equipped with Hard drives now -- Not that that doesn't solve the problem completely.
I'm heartbroken that the battery backup on some of my old Sega games is dead now. My Sonic and Knuckles save file --RUINED!
