That's why I liked Omochao in SA2B - you could attack/shoot him :3 I despised Omochao only when I accidentally set him off. When he's quiet, I'm fine but every now and then... I grab him and let him whine and struggle in Shadow's grasp. If I'm in White Jungle, he exits via water. Anywhere elseand a nice, tall, perilous cliff will do nicely. Shooting him with Tails and Eggy is awesome, too. What sucks is that he comes right back with either a case of amnesia or syaing you're a meanie. I even thought about making a Halloween story with Omochao in it. Throw a little [glow=red,2,300]Tails Doll[/glow] in the mix and bada boom bada bam! Getting back on topic, I think the game looks awesome especially the day stages but the Werehog stages look as if they would drive me nuts. I'm all for platforming but it seems so unlike Sonic in some ways. The final battle was cool though. I am in love with the theme song and the remix they did for the battle. I'd favorite it if I didn't have so many favorites already.

I agree. The theme song is fantastic. I just hope there is an extended mix of it. right now, the only MP3 floating around the internet is about 2 minuets and ten second. It ends just when I am rocking out. I'm also hoping the Soundtrack Album comes with a Crush 40 version, like His World had. And yes, I was very happy when Shadow got a gun that fired severed Omochao heads.

That was my 4th favorite gun on his game: 1 Shadow Rifle 2 Samurai Blade 3 Sattelite Lazer 4 Omochao Gun 5 that Chicken Vacumm thingy I forget the rest since I haven't played it in a while. I'm love with the giant Gating gun and tank barrel gun.

Shadow guns? I like the one you get after the final boss, I just stood there with the button held down and targeted everything let go of it and BOOM! big explosion! Also the Chicken one is funny you can friggin throw enemies at enemies, now thats simple! (Disregarding the Ratchet and Clank Suck Cannon which isn't as mighty)

The theme song (Endless Possibility) is really 4 minutes long in the extended version that plays during the first third of the credits

Nice! Thanks w2Rocker. I've already downloaded a rip. I played the PS3 version and here's my quick thoughts. Loved* Most of the Speed stages. They were good fun, and the transitions between 3D and 2D felt natural. * Music. I love Crush 40, but the world music gave the game a nice feeling of a global quest. * Chip. He was THIS CLOSE to being annoying, but never crossed the line in my book. I'm glad the US voice was deeper then the Japanese. * The opening Cinematic literally blew my Socks off. * The Were-hog could be surprisingly fun to play, and nicely broke up the pace of the game. Hated*The camera. It literally snaps 360 degres at times -- OFTEN WHILE YOU ARE TIGHTROPE WALKING! * The attack button is the same as the boost to your death button. The difference is weather or not you are airborn, but it really sucks when you think you are in the air, only to rocket off a platform. * The do or die quicktime events. I am actually a fan of QTEs, but only if they are optional. A game should NEVER automatically kill you because you were having too much fun playing the actual core gameplay to play Simon Says with it. * The Tornado. I love the Tornado. It one of my favorite Sonic standbys, but who in holy hell decided to take all forms of control away form the player, and force them to play five minute long QTEs with no checkpoint? * Eggmanland. A forty-five minuet level with no save spots and innumerable instant deaths. Son of a bi---- * No sense of urgency. The world has been shattered, and all people can do is ask Sonic to bring them souvenirs from China? The hell? Most Sonic games give you a felling of increasingly dangerous times. SA 2 did it nicely with the moon being destroyed. Sonic Heroes gave you a sneak peak at the Egg Fleet after Rail Canyon. Shadow the Hedgehog did a great job with this as wherever you went, the Black Aliens were doing a great job of railing chaos. Heck, even Sonic 2006 has Eggman robots frequently menacing Soliana, and the NPC's chatting about it. Would it kill the Villagers to be freaking out UNTIL Sonic repairs that section of the planet.

It's supposed to be rather fair in the Wii version.
The PS3 one is just insanely long, and full of VERY cheep deaths. Many of them come in the form of blind jumps that you cannot anticipate without memorization -- which I would be fine with if the game didn't send you back to the beginner if that was your last life.

That actually disappoints me as there was part of me that wanted to rent the Wii version at least once to make use of how easily hackable the system is.
If people could hack Link into RE5 then I can damn well hack Jet the Hawk into Unleashed!...I think...
Oh well, I hear the PS3 and 360 versions are fairly similar and I plan to get the bawks version anyway.

Well, I just finished the Wii version and it is BY FAR better designed. Not as pretty as the PS3 version, but with almost no frame rate hitches, and truly fun levels.
I ever preferred the werehog segments. They reminded me of Classic Sonic Platforming, albeit with Brawling instead of spin dashing.
And one final note -- the Final Boss is ridiculously well designed in this one. Much better then the awkward and drawn out one in the Ps3 version.

I really have a mild issue with the PS2 versions control, its fustrating as hell and most of the Werehog levels require you mashing the R1 button to do the fancy stuff atleast its fun at times, the daytime is awesome, i'ld actually like a game with just that and a little mustard please..........actually cut the mustard on that order, might break the game a bit -.-

Kay, that aside, I bought this game a couple days ago and so far, I'm loving it. The sense of speed is incredible. Take Zero Gravity and remove the boards, then give them a speed boost. That is Unleashed's sense of speed.
The graphics are f*cking sleek as well. And no, the graphics in the opening cinematic are not a tease, unlike some games *Glares at Shadow's game*
WereHog stages are...ffff...I have mixed reactions on those. On one hand, I like them because they're interesting and you get to smash the baddies heads into the ground, but on the other hand, my fingers get tired from the overuse of combat. Yeah, it's a cool feature, but the overuse of OMG TEH BAD GAIZ ARE HEERE LAWLZ is just awful.
Chip needs to die.
This game is like the Sonic Adventure 2 sequel we never got until now. They need to do more things like this.

Phoenixes are quite Chinese. That totally checks out, but the monster eel is kind of strange. Some with the Hammer jerk that shows up in Shamar (or is it Abdat?).
Honestly, I don't like the fake names for places. It just feels a little silly when the places are supposed to represent actual countries. At times you get the feeling the game is aspiring for a quasi-edutainment feel (especially the Ps3 version, with the exhaustive list of regional souvenirs), but then it throws you a curve with silly names that sound like your five-year old brother is mispronouncing an atlas.
Chip grew on me. I still don't care for him compared to the characters im the Sonic Series, but by the end I was ok with him. Once he figured out his role in life and stopped messing around at the snack bar, I felt much better.
