SONIC R 2!!

Well, me and my friend have been playing Sonic R for a bit and we got bored, so we started to think and that was when the idea hit me!

SEGA should make another Sonic R! ;D

It should have more places than the last, Such as:
Soleanna
Westopolis
And maybe redo the original maps to make them better! ;D ;D

They should add more characters! Besides, since there are WAY more people in the Sonic universe, THEY SHOULD ADD THEM TOO!!! (And make TD less creepy)

They could even make the original characters as bonus. ;D

Just imagine it if they made a Sonic R 2!

They won't end of story, the original was a flop and a company doesn't want to make a sequel to a game that was horendus, no one will buy it, that and Travelers Tales (co-producer of the original) has other things to do like pump out 200 lego games a month that no one buys (hence why I see lego star wars going for 18.00$ at walmart WE SELL FOR MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE SUCKAS!)

SONIC RIDERS HAS TO HAVE SOME COMPETITION!

If they're introducing inane game concepts, we already have Sonic Unleashed and Sonic & the Black Knight.

Unfortunately, this has about as much chance as most of us do at liking the kiss scene between Sonic and Elise. It simply won't happen. If SEGA makes any more Sonic racing games, it will be another Riders. The reception rating for Sonic R was generally very poor, while Sonic Riders recieved a mix rating of average to good. I simply wouldn't make sense for them to pull out a nearly decade old game when they have a series that is more recent. (That, and I'll put money on SEGA knowing they'll get raeped by Big if they make another Sonic R over a Sonic Riders.)

Yeah, I have to agree, no matter how much I'd like to see another Sonic R, people would more or less be like 'Huh? If this is the sequal/remake, what's the original?' the only reason Sonic R isn't gone in it's entirety is because it has the Tails Doll curse to back it up, or else it nobody would find any interest in it.
Of course, i'd still like a Sonic R 2...

It'd be more fun to try and get all of the original cast in one racing game. For Sonic R it was easy enough because the cast was relatively small back then. But since there has yet to be a game including all the charries (that was the only thing that annoyed the hell out of me in Sonic Riders - instead of unlocking the Chaotix I got a bunch of other SEGA characters).

It's easy to say they won't, but if I remember correctly Tails Doll got a mention in the Sonic X comics. Tails said he found him creepy XD

I think Sonic Riders is meant to be the sequel to Sonic R.

Have you noticed that the "R" is riders is in a different font the the others, and larger?

It makes sense as a sequel. Yes, Sonic R had everyone on foot, but Riders fits the cannon. Almost no one should be as fast as Sonic. Thus, they gave everyone hoverboards. That way, it's not a crime if Amy beats Sonic, or Knuckles comes in after Cream.

Hmm, that is pretty good thinking now that I think about it, I used to just think it was because sonic R controled like a car game and Riders could have that escuse because they're on something other than foot.

Actually, I think Amy and Dr. Robotnik rode in vehicles, unlike the other characters in Sonic R.

They did, but Amy was slow as hell. Robotnik actually was decent with a steady top speed yet rather slow acceleration. But Amy, even the ENCLOSED INSTRUCTION BOOK said she sucked.

Her car was terrible. That's probably why we've never seen it since.

The Eggmobile is OK, but has even worse traction then everyone else, and the on board weapon isn't very strong.

Alot of the time, the canon-ball helped me sling-shot into the lead.
Even Amy's 'Turbo-Boost' thing could only make her some competition for Tails, her turn became even worse the Kirby Air Ride's Formula Star. And since you couldn't charge... *shrug*
But she was the only 'Beginner' charrie who could 'hover' over water without slowing down too much.

Well, Sonic Riders kinda diminishes the point of Sonic. When you think about Sonic, what do you think about?

Him being the fastest thing in the world. Sonic Riders screwed that fact up, making it so if Sonic didnt have any rings, he would get off his board and be slow. The reason i would like a game like Sonic R is because everyone was on foot (Besides Amy and Eggman). Try looking at it from my perspective, the Sonic universe has grown massive since Sonic R. Characters and Places.

I'm not saying to make a direct sequel to Sonic R, im just saying make a game that is like Sonic R (and maybe bring back Metal Knux and Tails Doll, give them a sleeker look too).
