Ah yes, the human brain. It has been said that we only use 10% of our brains. But what about those diagnosed with epilepsy? Those who have epilepsy are diagnosed as having this condition by discovering if there are abnormalities with the brain. What about them? Are they still using 10%? Or are they using less?
I myself was been diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 17. So I have those aforementioned brain abnormalities. Though you can't really tell it by my grammar and spelling. My math abilities on the other hand....Well, I'd rather not talk about that.
This topic just occurred to me a little while ago. The human brain is an exceedingly complex thing. It seems so delicate at times. It also seems that no matter how much we study it, we still know so little about it. My memory, concentration, and focus started to decrease after I became an epileptic. Of all my academic skills, only math was affected. Why would my brain behave like that? Cutting out just certain things like that?
I may never know. But what I would like to know, is what are all of you people's opinions of the human brain and it's workings are. So, enlighten me.
